1 Executive Summary
This project aims to upgrade the computer lab at RCD Public School, Kordwara, run by the Institute of Science Sanstha Kotdwara, Uttarakhand 246149, to improve diagnostic literacy, enhance educational experiences, and foster skill development among students. The proposed upgrade includes the installation of modem computers, educational software, network infrastructure, and training programs. We seek support in the form of donations from organizations/companies, which will significantly impact the overall learning environment, equipping students with the necessary tools to thrive in a technology-driven world

2. Project Objectives
Enhance Educational Quality:
To provide students with access to up to date technology and resources, thereby improving the quality of their education and preparing them for the future job market.

Promate Digital Literacy
To enable students to become proficient in using Computers and digital tools, fostering essential skills for the modern workforce.

Facilitare E-Learning:
To introduce e-learning platforms, virtual classes, and interactive tools that will help students excel in subjects like mathematics, science, and language arts.

Encourage Innovation and Creativity: To provide students with a platform to learn Al coding. graphic design, animacion, and multimedia skils.

Build Infrastructures:
To ensure the computer tab has a sustainable, efficient, and user-friendly environment with upgraded hardware, software, and internet connectivity

3. Current Situation and Need for Upgradation
3.1 Existing Computer Lab Infrastructure
Number of old Computers:  20
Condition of Computers:  Outdated, slow processing speed, lack of essential software
Software Installed:  Basic software, lacking modern educational tools
Internet Connectivity:  Slow and unstable internet connection
Space & Ergonomics:  Outdated seating arrangement, limited space for effective learning

3.2 Issues and Limitations
Slow Performance:  Current computers are too slow for modem educational applications, causing delays and hampering learning.

Limited Software:  The existing software does not support advanced learning needs like coding 3D modeling, or virtual simulations.

Lack of E-Learning Facilities:  There are no provisions for e-learning, online education platforms, or video conferencing tools.
Inadequate Training:  Teachers and students are not fully equipped to leverage digital tools effectively for education.

4 Proposed Upgradation Plan
4.1 Hardware Upgrades
Modern Computers:  Purchase of 25 (twenty-five high performance computers with adequate RAM storage and processing capabilities.

Networking Equipment:  Upgrade to a high-speed Wi-Fi network with routers and extenders to ensure fast and reliable internet connectivity throughout the lab.

Printers and Scanners:  Modern printers and scanners to support various student projects and assignments.

Ergonomic Furniture:  Comfortable, adjustable desks and chairs to ensure a conducive learning environment.

4.2 Software Upgrades
Educational Software Packages:  Installation of interactive learning software, coding platforms (eg, Scratch, Python, etc.) and multimedia creacion tools te. Adobe Suite, 3D modeling software).

Learning Management Systems (LMS):  Integration of platforms like Moodle or Google Classroom to facilitate online learning and communication.

E-Learning Tools:  Installation of virtual classroom software for remote learning, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.

4.3. Teacher Training Programs
Digital Literacy Training:  Teachers will undergo professional development programs to effectively integrate technology into their teaching methodologies.

E Learning Training:  Teachers will be trained on how to use virtual learning platforma and cresce dleital resources for students.
