Dr. S.C. Dhoundiyal
Dr. S.C. Dhoundiyal is a renowned personality in the field of education in the Kotdwara region. After completing his MSc in Physics, and Ph.D., he started an educational social institution “The Institute of Science” to help students of this region to get good marks in their 12th and 10th Board examinations and to make a career in Engineering, Medical, Army, etc. This institute of Science was established in 1987 at the street –Govind Nagar, Kotdwara Garhwal. The Success of the students of his Institution was amazing under the guidance of the Team. Dr. S.C. Dhoudiyal is popularly Known as Monty Sir. Several students got selected for Medical Entrance Examination like AFMC, CPMT, NIH, UAPMT, etc. Before the advent of private universities, it was not easy to get selections for B.Tech Entrance Examination in Government colleges but several students of the Institute Of Science (Govind Nagar ) in these Government Entrance Examination got Selection.
This word RCD always reminds us that this school will make good citizens having high moral and dedication to society. Dr. S.C. Dhoundiyal qualified for IAS Pre in 1988. He got several awards and citations during and after his schooling life. He has wide experience in Schooling during his student life. He was a part of “Scout and Guide”, NCC. He was the Captain of Table Tennis at his School. In 1979 when Dr. S.C. Dhoundiyal was a student of Class XI he led a delegation to State Science Exhibition in Lucknow in November 1979. His photographs were published in renowned newspapers like National Herald.
Dr. S.C. Dhoundiyal has the vision to impart education in such a way that students should become good and responsible citizens of India. This School actively contributes to making Great India by motivating Students to become Doctors, Engineers, CA, etc. Students should get acquainted with Indian customs and Heritage. They have basic knowledge of Yoga so students should have perfect coordination between mind and body Education should be stress-free and learning of the subjects should contain activities, experiments, practicals, etc.
